You have the Goddess's Bell. Josef's dead. Time to get the Sunfire from Kashuan Keep and destroy the Dreadnought.
Journey to Kashuan Keep
Go to Poft's pub. Talk to Cid's assistant at the far right table and book passage to Kashuan Keep for 400 Gil. The airship drops you at the fortress entrance. You can walk from Poft (south through the forest), but flying is faster with only three party members.

Kashuan Keep has 5 floors, 11 chests, and one boss.

Inside, a magical flame blocks the path. Use the Goddess's Bell on the door behind it to unlock the way forward.

Past the door, you'll meet Gordon, prince of Kashuan and brother to Scott (the dying prince from Fynn's pub). Gordon came for the Sunfire himself but couldn't proceed. He lacks Egil's Torch, a relic needed to safely carry the flame.

Gordon joins as your fourth member. He starts with a spear and shield but has low weapon proficiency, so he won't hit hard initially. Give him spare gear and he'll level up as you go.
Kashuan Keep
Kashuan Keep is 5 floors with 11 chests and one boss. Enemies are undead and beasts. Ogres hit hard, so use Protect. Ogre Mages cast Sleep 4 and Blizzard 5, so kill them first. Ghouls and Ghasts inflict Paralysis but are weak to Fire. Shadows and Wraiths have high evasion, so use magic instead of physical attacks.

1F. Follow the path. In the next room, go south to the bottom right corner for chest 1 (Cure Tome). Head back up, take a left. Ignore the door. Continue south to the stairs.

2F. Go right, then down. Continue right to the end, then up to the top right corner for chest 2 (500 Gil). Follow the path around to the stairs.

3F. Take a left and walk down into the statue room. Three paths lead south; the first is a dead end. Take the second one. Chest 3 (Golden Shield) is at the end — monster chest with 5 Wererats. They can Poison but aren't dangerous. Double back up, take a right, go down, and follow the path to the stairs in the top right corner.

4F. Take a left. At the intersection, go south to the first door. Inside: Mythril Axe, Werebuster, and Mythril Sword. The Werebuster shreds Werebeasts. Exit, go up, take a left (ignore the door), then continue south to 5F.

5F. Go up and take a right. Push south. Chest 7 (Golden Armor) triggers a fight with 4 Mines and 2 Balloons.
Take a right and go north to the door in the top right corner. Inside: Mallet, Antidote, and Eye Drops. Leave and go south. At the intersection, take a left. Follow the path to the stairs. Keep going until you reach a room with the Red Soul waiting inside.

Red Soul guards chest 11 containing Egil's Torch.
After the fight, grab Egil's Torch from the chest behind it.
Obtaining the Sunfire
Use Teleport to exit (or walk back). Re-enter Kashuan Keep and head to the flame at the entrance. Use Egil's Torch on it to capture the Sunfire.

As you leave, a cutscene triggers. The Dreadnought flies overhead, attacking something. Hilda and Cid were aboard an airship that got caught in the assault.
Optional: Chocobo Forest. Before making for Altair, head south from Kashuan Keep through the forest. Look for a small clearing. That's the Chocobo Forest.

Chocobos let you travel faster with no random battles. They return to the forest when you dismount or enter a town.

Return to Altair
Take the path northeast through the mountains toward Poft. Cid's airship isn't available because it was captured. Take the ship from the pub dock to Paloom, then Canoe southwest to Altair.
In the rebel hideout, you learn Hilda has been captured. She was aboard Cid's airship when the Dreadnought attacked.

Find Minwu upstairs tending to the King. Ask about Dreadnought. Hilda and Cid are prisoners aboard it. Next step: infiltrate the Dreadnought, rescue them, and use the Sunfire to destroy the engine.
