Magic

FF2's magic system is unique - any character can learn any spell, and spells level up through use. The more you cast a spell, the more powerful it becomes. There are no class restrictions.

Black Magic

Offensive spells and debuffs. Key spells include Fire/Blizzard/Thunder for damage, Haste/Berserk for offense, and Flare for raw power.

White Magic

Healing and defensive spells. Cure is a must-have throughout the game. Blink and Protect are critical for boss fights. Holy deals massive damage to undead and bosses.
