With the Mythril delivered, return to Altair and talk to Hilda. Ask about Dreadnought. She's worried about the Empire's secret project, a massive warship being built in Bafsk. Make for Bafsk and find out what you can.

Bafsk
Head back to Poft. You can fly to Bafsk via Cid's airship, but it costs 200 Gil. Walking is free and Minwu trivializes random encounters anyway. From Poft, go north and hug the right mountain range as you push east. Circle around the mountains and continue south until you reach the walled city.

Bafsk is Imperial territory. The citizens are forced labor for the Dreadnought project. The magic shop is in the bottom right corner. Esuna and Basuna are available here. Esuna cures status ailments and you'll need it constantly from here on; teach it to Firion.

Find the soldier standing near the left side of town. Ask him about Wild Rose first to establish trust, then ask about Dreadnought. He steps aside and reveals a hidden passage leading to Bafsk Cave.

Bafsk Cave
Bafsk Cave is a short dungeon: 2 floors, 3 chests, no boss. You're here to witness the Dreadnought under construction and grab the Pass you'll need to board it later. Zombies show up for the first time here. Fire wipes them out.

B1. From the entrance, head up the passage to find a Longsword. Go back down and follow the path right. It curves around to the bottom left corner where a Longbow sits. Continue right and take the exit to B2.

B2. Go right and skip the first intersection — dead end. Keep going right, then up. The path zigzags in a lightning bolt shape. Follow it until you see light coming through an opening. A Dark Knight blocks the way.

A cutscene plays with the Dark Knight and Borghen. After their exchange, you get your first look at the Dreadnought.

Head back into the cave. Go right through the door to find the Pass chest. You'll need this to board the Dreadnought later.

Use the purple teleportation pad to warp out. No need to backtrack.
Learning About Sunfire
Leave Bafsk and return to Poft. The town looks different now. Buildings are damaged, the ground is scorched. The Dreadnought bombed it while you were in the cave. This unlocks the Empire's Blitz trophy.
Walk to the pub and find Cid. Ask him about Dreadnought. He explains how to bring it down: destroy the engine and the whole thing blows. The engine runs on Sunfire. Learn this keyword, then ask him about it.

Return to Altair and talk to Hilda. Ask about Sunfire — she directs you to the King in the room on the right. Talk to him and ask about Sunfire. He explains that Sunfire is in Kashuan Keep, but you need the Goddess's Bell to enter. Learn this keyword and ask him about it.

Minwu leaves here to pursue his own mission. You'll see him again later. Next stop: Snow Cavern for the Goddess's Bell.
