FF WalkthroughKimahri's now in your party menu. The S.S. Liki voyage from Besaid to Kilika is short, but there's loot to grab and a merchant to meet before Sin shows up.
Ship Exploration
Save point. Head below deck and save your game. You'll want this before the boss fights.
Free Potions. Back on deck, there's a suitcase on the right side. Kick it. Keep kicking. Each kick gives you a Potion until you hit 20 total in your inventory. Free healing—don't skip this.
Remedy chest. In the corridor below deck, take the left door into the Cabin. The chest on the left side has a Remedy.
Al Bhed Primer Vol. III. From the corridor, don't go up the stairs. Instead, head to the bottom-right to find the Power Room. You'll see Chocobos working the machinery. The primer's on the floor in the foreground, right side. Grab it before the attack.
O'aka XXIII
O'aka's a traveling merchant you'll see throughout the game. He asks for donations here—and at three more locations (S.S. Winno, Luca Dock 1, Mi'ihen Highroad). Your total donation across all four spots determines his prices later.

O'aka sells basic gear and items. Nothing you need right now; his inventory improves later.
Triggering Sin's Attack
Once you've grabbed everything, go on deck. Talk to Yuna, then approach Wakka. Talk to Yuna again. You'll get some backstory about High Summoner Braska and Jecht. Then Sin attacks.
Boss: Sin (Fin)
Deal 2,000 damage to the fin and it goes down. Tidus falls overboard; Wakka dives after him.
Boss: Sinspawn Echuilles
Sin retreats after the fight. The ship limps toward Kilika, but Sin's already been there.
